چکیده

The luminescence of Yb in the oxyborate Li2Lu5O4(BO3)3 is reported. At low temperature, in addition to the usual ytterbium infrared emission, this phosphor presents an emission in the ultraviolet (λmax= 345 nm) which corresponds to the transition from the charge transfer state (O-Yb) to the 4f levels of Yb. The temperature quenching Tq50% is equal to 120K. The infrared emission studied at room temperature is located between 950 and 1100 nm. An europium emission quenching in the Li2Yb5O4(BO3)3 phase is related to an Eu→Yb transfer by cross-relaxation. The reverse Yb→Eu transfer by cooperative sensitization is highlighted in the codoped Li2Lu5O4(BO3)3 compound. Luminescent properties of 2-mercaptobenzothiazolates of trivalent lanthanides.

A series of lanthanide complexes (Ln = Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd and Yb) with anionic 2-mercaptobenothiazolate (mbt) ligands were synthesized. Depending on the solvents chosen for the synthesis, Ln(mbt)3(THF)2 and Ln(mbt)3(Et2O) complexes were precipitated from THF and Et2O solutions respectively. The structure of Yb(mbt)3(Et2O) was determined by X-ray analysis. Photophysical properties of the complexes w...

Enhanced photoelectric conversion efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells by the incorporation of dual-mode luminescent NaYF4:Yb3+/Er3+.

This work focuses on the design of composite photoanodes with dual-mode luminescent function as well as the effects of luminescent phosphors on the photoelectric properties of dye-sensitized solar cells. Specifically, hexagonal phase NaYF4:Yb(3+)/Er(3+) microcrystals were prepared by a hydrothermal method and added to the TiO2 photoanodes of dye-sensitized solar cells. The results indicated tha...

Controllable synthesis and tunable luminescence properties of Y2(WO4)3:Ln3+ (Ln = Eu, Yb/Er, Yb/Tm and Yb/Ho) 3D hierarchical architectures.

Yttrium tungstate precursors with novel 3D hierarchical architectures assembled from nanosheet building blocks were successfully synthesized by a hydrothermal method with the assistance of sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate (SDBS). After calcination, the precursors were easily converted to Y(2)(WO(4))(3) without an obvious change in morphology. The as-prepared precursors and Y(2)(WO(4))(3) were ch...

Multifunctional ScF3:Ln3+ (Ln = Tb, Eu, Yb, Er, Tm and Ho) nano/microcrystals: hydrothermal/solvothermal synthesis, electronic structure, magnetism and tunable luminescence properties.

A facile, hydrothermal/solvothermal route has been developed to synthesize a series of multifunctional lanthanide ion (Tb(3+), Eu(3+), Yb(3+), Tm(3+), Er(3+) and Ho(3+))-activated ScF3 nanocrystals. The morphology and size of ScF3 can be tuned in a controlled manner by altering the additives and volume ratios of H2O : EtOH in the initial solution. Under ultraviolet (UV), vacuum ultraviolet (VUV...
